The Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade has initiated an investigation, through Circular No. 51, dated June 27, 2025, to determine the existence of dumping in exports from China to Brazil of decorative paper, uncoated, unprinted, non-impregnated, presented in rolls with a width equal to or greater than 125 cm, commonly classified under NCM subheading 4805.91.00, and injury to the domestic industry resulting from such practice.
The dumping analysis considered the period from July 2023 to June 2024. The injury analysis considered the period from July 2019 to June 2024.
Exporters will receive questionnaires from the Brazilian Trade Remedies Department (DECOM), which are not yet available, and will have 30 days to respond, with the possibility of a 30-day extension, upon request.
