Antidumping Investigation - Polyethylene Resins

We inform you that the Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) initiated an investigation on November 14, 2024, through Circular No. 63, dated November 13, 2024, to determine the existence of dumping in Brazilian imports of polyethylene resins classified under NCM subheadings 3901.10.30, 3901.20.29, and 3901.40.00, originating from the USA and Canada, and to assess injury to the domestic industry resulting from this practice.

The dumping analysis considered the period from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, while the injury analysis considered the period from April 1, 2019, to March 31, 2024.

Interested parties have until December 9, 2024, to request qualification in the proceeding.
