The Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat ("SECEX") initiated today (02/09/2024), through Circular No. 04, dated February 8, 2024, an investigation to ascertain the existence of dumping in China's exports to Brazil of phthalic anhydride, commonly classified under subitem 2917.35.00 of the Common Mercosur Nomenclature - NCM, and the resulting injury to the domestic industry from such practice.
