The Secretariat of Foreign Trade of Brazil ("SECEX") has initiated an anti-circumvention review today, through Circular No. 18, dated May 24, 2022, to investigate the existence of eluding commercial practices aimed at frustrating the effectiveness of existing anti-dumping measures.
The anti-circumvention review will cover Brazilian imports of Glass and Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB), commonly classified under subheadings 7006.00.00 and 3920.91.00 of the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR - NCM, originating from the People's Republic of China.
The current dumping margin ranges from US$/t 475.15 to US$/t 2,761.35.
