The Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) has initiated a public interest assessment concerning the anti-dumping measure applied to Brazilian imports of titanium dioxide (TiO₂) pigments, rutile grade, originating from China.
The assessment will analyse the impacts of the anti-dumping measure on the national economy, taking into account not only the domestic industry but also the effects on downstream sectors and the supply dynamics of the product in the Brazilian market.
Depending on the outcome, the authority may recommend maintaining, modifying, or suspending the measure.
Monitoring this assessment is essential for companies operating in the affected value chains, as the outcome may impact costs, competitiveness, and access to key inputs in the Brazilian market.
