Termination of the Subsidy and Dumping Investigations | Optical Fiber Cables

SECEX Circular nº 36/2023 and SECEX Circular nº 35/2023 terminated, without judgment on the merits, the investigations initiated to verify the existence of dumping and subsidies subject to compensatory measures granted to Chinese producers that exported to Brazil cables of optical fibers, commonly classified under sub-item 8544.70.10 of the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature - NCM and dumping, and injury to the domestic industry arising from such practices.
